Dr. D. Dimitriadis is a Principal Researcher in Microsoft, Seattle, since 2018. He served as RSM in IBM Research, PMTS at AT&T Labs (2009-14), lecturer P.D 407/80 in School of ECE, NTUA, Greece.

He is a Senior Member of IEEE and Reviewer for the IEEE SPS, the Signal Processing Journal of Elsevier Publications and the Journal on Advances in Signal Processing of EURASIP, and an Affiliate Member of SLTC since 2011. He has lead the development and deployment of the “Speaker Diarization” and the “Emotion Recognition based on audio” projects in IBM Research.

He has published multiples of papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals and conferences with 500 citations. He received his PhD degree from NTUA in February 2005. His PhD Thesis Title is “Non-Linear Speech Processing, Modulation Models and Applications to Speech Recognition”.
